Show Experience and Handling History
I started showing dogs around 1967/68. My first breed was Boxers and showed them steadily over 30 years in addition to Whippets, Chinese Shar-Pei and Am-Staffs. Over the years I showed several breeds for other people and during this time met friends and fellow handlers showing Boston Terriers. Once I retired, I decided I needed a small breed to change from my Boxers, and thought Boston Terriers would be the way to go.

My Boston Terriers

I got my first Boston puppy from Jamie Allen. A male I named “Henry” Ch. Cibolo's Lonestar Cowboy, my first Champion Boston Terrier. I then got a female puppy from Maxine Uzoff who I called “Millie” aka Ch. Oui's Patent Pending, another female from Stacy Farber called “Stormy” Ch. Lynnleigh's Storm Warning and her brother who was all ready a Champion, “Doppler” Ch. Lynnleigh's Weather Watch.

My career showing Boston Terriers

I bred my first litter in 2004 with “Stormy” she gave me 2 males who both became champions. “Millie” was my first dog that I showed at Nationals in Houston 2005.  She won an AOM, under Ed Bivin.  At my next National, Milwaukee in 2008, I had a dog co-owned with Jamie Allen named her “Prissy', Ch. Lonestar's Pris N' Prim of Cibolo, she went Best of Breed under Michelle Billings.

At this time I belong to 3 Boston Terrier clubs: Boston Terrier Club of Louisiana, Greater Houston Boston Terrier Club and Sonoran Desert Boston Terrier Club
of Arizona.
